Hello! My name is Christy Pacanowski and I am the photographer and owner of Embolden Studio! I love working with high school seniors and being a part of one of the first milestones they get to experience as seniors (senior pictures!!). This leg of their journey finishing high school and taking the next step is so exciting, but can also be scary. I love being another voice in their lives through the transition-- inspiring them to discover what it is they are passionate about and what solutions they could bring to that which breaks their hearts in the world around them. My time working with them on the model time offers me space for some thinking and talking about those questions.

To EMBOLDEN means to "inspire confidence in". We love the idea of giving our seniors confidence to use for something bigger than themselves and dream of the impact they will make in the world. What sort of things are you most passionate about? Perhaps you aren’t sure yet what that is, but what are some injustices that you personally would love to solve or help be a part of the solution? This could be orphans/adoption, animal rights, missions, environmental issues, poverty, water, nutrition, the arts, teen pregnancy, political issues, drinking and driving, texting and driving, terrorism, abuse, campus sexual assault, abortion, race issues, impacting kids, training leaders.... (these are just a few to get you thinking).
