Senior Model Profile–Macie

Say hello to Macie, a senior at Spring Lake High School. When she’s not balancing an apple on her head for an Embolden photo shoot, Macie is juggling plenty else–and doing it with grace. Macie volunteers in various capacities, including the youth program at her church and as work crew at Young Life camp this summer. Macie is also active with Calling All Colors, a group that promotes ethnic diversity. Jack of all trades, she works at an ice cream shop, participates in cheerleading and even has her own YouTube channel. This girl can do it all!

Macie is passionate about steering clear of drinking and driving–something she knows is a big temptation for students her age. She hopes to find ways to help create awareness around the issue, recognizing that lives can be saved when she and her peers make the positive choice not to drink and get behind the wheel. We love that Macie will stand up for what she believes in, and we second her hope that more and more students will make positive choices for themselves and for others.

Macie’s mom sent us her letter of referral and said this about Macie: “We are incredibly thankful and blessed to have Macie as part of our family. She is one of the most positive, self-motivated, determined, focused and driven people I have ever met. She has also been gifted with a spirit of empathy, compassion, discernment and has a servant’s heart.She is not only an amazing, loving daughter but the kind of friend that you want in your corner. She sticks up for the underdogs, isn’t afraid to take a strong stance on bullying, and is the ultimate encourager/cheerleader and always has your back and best interest in mind. Her faithis extremely important and keeps her very grounded and humble. She is very kind, witty, artistic and intelligent. Macie is involved in many extracurricular activities including National Honor Society, Calling All Colors, Interact (Junior Rotarian), Ski Club, Improv/theatre,Spanish/French/Polish, member of Young Life, Lacrosse and cheerleading. She serves as the 3-5 grade leader at All-Shores Church for the past 5 years….. I’m so very proud of Macie and the choices that she’s made. She’s a beautiful daughter, friend, leader and young lady who brings joy, laughter and love wherever who goes. Excited to see what God has planned for her!”
