Taryn + Mike : : Tied the Knot : : 07.18.14

We love nothing more than to shoot a gorgeous wedding, but it really takes the cake when we get to spend the day with one of our very own! Taryn and Mike’s wedding day was divine on so many levels–Taryn made a most stunning bride, the weather was summery and sweet, and Taryn’s thoughtfulness and attention to detail crafted a celebration that represented the new Mr. and Mrs. Roels just perfectly. We couldn’t be more thrilled for the start of their life together, and we’re practically fawning over all of these amazing images that we think capture their day so beautifully. Enjoy!It’s possible that we love these pre-ceremony moments just as much as we love weddings themselves! All of the behind-the-scenes laughter, tears, prayers and preparation–the intimate details of the day that make it so personal and special…And then the first look. Just look at these two! Lovebirds if we ever saw them! Taryn and Mike are genuinely passionate about one another. His gentleness and softness toward her is so beautiful, and she absolutely adores him! They were meant to be Mr. and Mrs.–there’s no doubt!

We can’t forget these little touches at every turn–Taryn was a busy girl! (And no doubt, Mike had his share of fun in it all, too!)We didn’t miss a moment (and we wouldn’t have wanted to!) That’s the beauty of having two of our photographers on site at the same time–at least one is always capturing what’s happening, and sometimes, both. This gives us options for the very best pics of the bunch. And wow, were there plenty!
It’s safe to say that everyone had a great time. Taryn and Mike, you sure know how to throw a party! We were honored to be there, and thrilled to preserve such a red letter day for both of you.
